The Arabian Horse Culture International Institute is the producer of the international film production “HORSES OF THE EMIR”. The film tells the story of the legendary Count Wacław Rzewuski, also known in the Arab countries in the 19th century as Emir Taj al-Fahr (the Crown of Fame).
An epic, dramatic story of a great european aristocrat who travelled thousands of miles 200 years ago to reach the deserts of Arabia. He accepted the title of Prince from the local rulers, fought at the side of his Arab friends, lived with them, learnt and described their traditions.
He then returned home bringing with him the most refined Arabian horses, which became the foundation stock for Polish Arabian horse breeding that became world famous. He was a great oriental and Arab scholar, traveler, warrior, pure bred Arabian horse breeder. He loved the arabian horses and Arab culture more than anything else in his life.
The film will be 60 minutes long. According to the assumptions of its producer and director the film is to be broadcast by various international TV stations, as well as to be presented at numerous film festivals arround the world.
